Are we being exploited by Government

Fuel Prices:
🇧🇹 Bhutan | Petrol: ₹66 | Diesel: ₹70
🇮🇳 India | Petrol: ₹105 | Diesel: ₹91

Where does Bhutan get its fuel from? : From India.

Yet, fuel is cheaper in Bhutan — why? Because their government keeps taxes low. Meanwhile in India, the public is being looted through exorbitant taxes.

Global crude prices dropped. But instead of passing on the benefit, the Indian government hiked excise duty, and kept retail prices same. All done silently, so people wouldn’t question the daylight robbery.

This is not governance, This is exploitation.

What do you call those who take unfair advantage of others during a crisis? more

We as salaried people pay taxes and it is deducted before we get salary and with the taxes which is paid to our corrupt politicians who have amassed crores of money which should have gone for welfare to the economically backward but it has not reached them and all of it have been siphoned off systematically over the period of years and hence india remained a backward nation .Now also in lot of states same is continuing and govt is part of it at the expense of substandard work and politicians getting huge amount as commission. All the policians take all the benefit like free everything like house/vehicle/petrol /electricity/water which are our taxes and do nothing other than come with begging hands during election.at least educated people should not vote these corrupt politicians who show their face once in 5 yrs .It is high time at least the educated people who do not vote excercise their right instead of enjoying the holiday. more
As per Indian Govt and State Govts, Patrol and diesel are considered as luxiary items. Hence the Taxes on these are maximum. But indirectly they are increasing the Transportation cost and hence adding to inflation. more
