OMG. Nothing is new. Our national character is this. No one can do anything. Whole system is corrupt. Just look at what the lady is going through. I wish tourists stop coming to India. I hang my head in shame. more

Its time that the Indian Judiciary system is rehauled and made accountable. huge number of piled cases since 25years are the shear lazy approach of the judiciary talking of great morals. Law is above all, is it below or in the hands of the judges. It may be an isolated case, but we believe in respecting our guests. Forget about respecting the judiciary is least bothered. People responsible should be taken to task. more

Less we discuss about Indian diplomatic services in other countries is better.First let us make sure that the Indian Judiciary System works. I am appearing today on a "cheque bounce case" which was filed in Oct:2018. This is the seventh date, the previous one was June,6 2019. I also know that "cheque bouncing" is a criminal offense under section 138 and must be concluded with in 6 months as per Hon: Supreme Court of India. I made two mistakes. 1.I loaned Rs.50,000 to an aquaintance in 07-11-2017 as a loan to pay the bills of a hospital for treatment of his wife ( a mother of two children) and promised to pay back with in one month. But he kept on giving excuses and finally he stopped picking up my calls. So I deposited his cheque for Rs.50,000.00 which was given to me as a collateral on 03-08-2018 and was bounced. I gave him a month to pay back the money. He did not even answer my message. So I followed the legal system of issuing legal notice, which he accepted, repeated it again and finally filed a case with local magistrate court 26-10-2018. I am 76 years old and I do not know when I will get the money back. I just want my money back. This taught me a lesson not to lend money to "friends" 2.The so called recovery agents approached me with an offer to get my money back. But that was too cruel and unethical. Then after today's appearance in the court I shall try Gandhigiri or Goondagiri. more

Issue raised in the video is about refusal by the Indian Consulate in San Francisco to attest her vakaltnama so that it can be taken on record by the High Court in India. This lady mentions that she used to get it attested at Indian Consulate New York earlier. So the issue is why the San Francisco Consulate is denying her this service? Is it a issue of incompetence or corruption? Hope someone well take note of such dereliction of duty by the Indian Consulate. more
