A memorial for Siachin
The death of the braveheart Lance Naik Hanumanthappa today in Delhi. Brings home the sad fact that more than 850 soliders have died on Siachin due to inclemental climatic conditions there.
The best tribute a grateful nation can pay to the ultimate sacrifice made by these brave hearts is to institute a state of the heart Memorial hospital in Kargil or Leh to treat soldiers suffering on Siachin.
These facilities do not exist in the Jammu and Kashmir therefore these soldiers have to be flown down to Delhi for treatment.

No memorial for anyone in this country just no memorial .It is observed huge land bank in the name of stupid memorial are occupied by govt who come every five years .THIS SHOULD STOP IMMEDIATELY the land retrieved and used for school ,collage university and hostels for student of different state to go to Delhi and study .NEW DELHI should have minimum 1000 students from all states to go to Delhi and study so that dihatis of this country can make out culture and language of all state and how all states are living together after 69 years of INTERDEPENDENCE REMOVE ALL REPEAT ALL MEMORIAL FROM DELHI IMMEDIATELY. IF THE NETA WANTS BUILD STATUE OR PILLARS WITH LITTLE LAND TO CONSTRUCT MEMORIAL BUT NO HUGE LAND BANK WHICH CAN BE USED FOR SCHOOL,COLLAGE AND UNIVERSITY. more

Dear all, Why siachen does not have facilities because the Military Engineering services wing of the armed forces gets a hefty budget (which is unaccountavle) but all the officers are busy in corrupt practices nearly 40% of the allotted budgeted funds are being siphon up by the CWE, GE, AGE and junior staff. Cut off all the funds allotted to military establishments in all states for a year and divert all the funds to siachen area to build better facilities and hospital. Nothing is impossible, just the defense minister has to show his power and will and it will be done. The highest amount of corruption is within the Military Engineering Services wing which in other terms is MONEY EATING SERVICES. more
