There is localcircles report in TOI today about deploying crpf in punjab. Haryana is burning this shit too more
Husk/Stubble can be utilised as fertiliser if proper farming equipment is used. Solution is available with German technology companies like LEMKEN. Treatment is a big problem has an economical solution. more
Deputing Force or any Coercive method is not a solution. If there is seriousness HOW TO SOLVE the issue of Stubble disposal without affecting farmers economy ought be looked into. Fit case where people can buy small stocks and simply donate to poor for covering huts etc. more
You must complain the administration if they fail to take action send proof to me I will file Contempt against them in NGT. more
The farmers burning stubble have a genuine problem which no body understands. Farmers today hardly earn sufficient to make their ends meet. Removing stubble and then disposing off costs money which unfortunately they fall short of. Instead of framing laws to punish if Govt provides necessary help out of common infrastructure created for the purpose, can help eradicate this problem. Else every year and years after that keep discussing and finally resign to fate. It is the law of nature that every body folliws the path of least resistance. For farmers it is the burning stubble that is easiest. If fines are imposed then easiest would be to stop growing rice. So decide what is the best solution. more
