Metro Heart Institute and Superspeciality Hospital Faridabad had come out with an advt. offering a discount of Rs. 25,000/- for angioplasty, stenting and bypass surgery. In our view such discounts is nothing but inducing the patients for treatment and is against code of medical ethics Regulations 2002 of Indian Medical Council. Otherwise also is the hospital treating such treatments as commercial practices and commercialising even bypass surgeries. We condemn such commercialisation of medical professional and have drawn the attention of Medical Council of India and Haryana Medical Council. more

I second with you, this must be stopped. Metro hospital is also not giving the complete services even after charging hefty amounts. more

In entire NCR, it is difficult to find ethical approach of hospitals. However, if one can manage to go to south india, then Chitra Hospital in Trivandrum, a government hospital functioning like private is a good option. more
