41% parents are hesitant to give vaccines to their 6-12 years old

All of you know, how LocalCircles always enables every possible voice, even if it goes against the majority view. Towards this endeavor, we realised late last year that many parents had concerns about administering the COVID vaccine to their children. In our recent survey, we have made an attempt to measure the vaccine hesitancy and below is the report link:

41 pct parents of 6-12 year olds are hesitant to give COVID vaccine to their children

One of the key asks here is the need for a better SMS based over time adverse events tracking system so any side effects can be tracked. If you are one of these parents, do share the same with your whatsapp contacts and school administration. Also note that per Supreme Court order, no school or organisation or administration can force your child to take the COVID vaccine if you are not comfortable. If the case is otherwise, kindly report the same. more

Since children are the group not have any serious issue with Covid or death, they should not give this to kids. We do not have enough data on that. more
Covid vaccines are developed as emergency vaccines … they have not had enough time to be researched as they should have been … therefore parents should reserve the right to wait and watch till they are comfortably certain about efficacy or adverse effects … Supreme Court has correctly given its decision on not making it mandatory. We don’t have to turn our kids into Guinea pigs for research purposes. more
why we can't think LIKE other vaccine let us take this too. but under supervision of U R family Doctor more
Very Good! 41% of parents are sensible enough not to subject their children to an experimental product which does not have any efficacy, and for which there are no long term safety studies more
Why parents in India are hesitant must be studied more
Because they have common sense more
