However, it will need many more reports like this to shake up the Govt which seems focused on wrong things like symbolism of mantris and babus holding brooms. As rightly pointed in survey results, ground level reforms are needed to make things better.

Even in cities like Bhopal and Indore which I belong to undoubtedly work has happened but its largely due to efforts of 2-3 individuals. more

A very important point here is that wherever non NDA govts are there, desire to implement Swachh Bharat is completely lacking. Karnataka is a classic case where the current govt seems to have deliberately decided not to implement Swachh Bharat. Innumerable examples from Bangalore can be provided here. more
So right...Bharat is my country...why bring politics into it!!! more
People need to understand that Swachh Bharat is not NDA or UPA thing but it is everybody's duty. Non NDA govt's can take it as Nirmal Bharat Abhyan or Total Sanitation Campaing which was renamed by NDA goverment.

Whatever are the names the main purpose is Clean India. So whichever party you support Cleanliness is everybody's responsibility more
inspite of ads and TV announcements, public still throw garbage and spit on the roads which is unpardonable. Government should provide a dustbin on every road corner besides constructing small budget urinals so that people avoid using public places . busiest places like Avenue road, balepet, chickpet, gandhibazar, city market there is no atleast urinals so that public may use it . this is pathetic situation. more
Definitely, awareness has developed, but the infrastructure is yet to be provided at crowded places. Let the local body authorities initiated steps in this directed. Three years have already elapsed. more
