In another incident of sexual assault on children, a three-year-old has been allegedly raped by a 45-year-old cleaner of a bus inside a luxury bus, while the five-year-old brother of the victim kept on banging on the bus door, begging to let go of his sister.
The Police said on Tuesday that the incident happened on Monday afternoon. Police sources said that the incident happened at Canal (West) Road of north Kolkata. The accused Sk Munna has been arrested and the girl has been admitted at the government-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. more

A directory of rapists in India should be published by the Ministry of Women & Child Welfare where state-wise details of rapists with age,education,religion,caste ,marital status and residential location along with further information on the time taken to apprehend the culprits and security provided to the victim, medical issues attended and time taken ,counselling arranged for the child and the family and also provide additional information on whether uniform punishment awarded and time taken for awarding such punishment. Raping a child is a rarest of rare crime and normally deserve capital punishment.How many of them have been awarded such punishment at all ? more

After spoiling the life of an innocent, what right a rapist gets to live. This sort of people be immediately hanged to death then only the others will get the lesson. Let these people do such type of crime in Middle East and come scot free. more

I am personally against death penalty. But in such heinous crimes, there is no other alternative left either. I am an elderly person. As I read such reports in the newspaper, I break-up. My grand daughter is of 13 now and I feel scared of taking her for outings these days, which we used to enjoy an year earlier. The problem must be addressed at the national and regional level It is difficult to understand why such crimes are less in western countries, where they enjoy more freedom. The safety of the children has to be ensured by the state, it is their right. more

The penalty should be such that this person will never be able to use his sex organ. Medically cut it short so that it becomes useless for all sexual purpose.
