2 in 3 Indians get 3 unwanted/pesky phone calls each day

Yes, you read it right. That is the extent of the menace of so called unsolicited commercial communication in India and the sad part is most of print media doesn't want to write about it to upset their advertisers. Below is the link to the survey report:

2 in 3 Indians gets 3 or more pesky calls each day

LocalCircles will do its bit and escalate to the Government like it always does but unless and until majority of you gets out and starts sharing such menaces atleast on social media and your own groups, a solution will not emerge quickly.

Do share any of your experiences and inputs on the subject! more

Absolutely no one is bothered more
But this is a real Nuisance. more
it's very common now a days. TRAI is absolutely ineffective to control such nuisance in public life. Let the authority frame good rules & policy framework to penalise badly for such mischeiveous works. more
Where to complain against unsolicited advertising calls? more
The rest of the world has the same problem. Stop asking government to nanny you. The government has enough important stuff they need to focus on. We do not want to spend hard earned money we pay as taxpayer to spend on this sort of stuff. more
