Thanks All, I have spoken to an Homeopathy doctor and he suggested me to get it operated. It was creating a blockage. There are various factors, As long as the stone is in Kidney and not creating problem, you can try some alternatives (Homeopathy and Ayurveda). If it got stuck in VUJ (Kidney-ureter junction) and causing blockage then your kidney starts getting swelling as well gets infected and if it doesn't treated in 72 hours then it may result to permanent Kidney failure, so please first consult the doctor and understand the condition then only go for alternatives otherwise no need to risk your kidney. Today there are various options available for surgery as well like ESWL and laser technique in which no cut is required anywhere in the body and are far better to risk your kidney. Your hardness of the stone also matter in deciding the type of surgery and if it can be dissolved by medicines or not. So I would advice if anybody is not sure about the complete situation/ possible complication better not advice patients and let them consult the doctor first. AiIMS is a Govt Hospital and treatment is given to the patients by latest techniques .only the expert can tell whether it requires surgery or not more
