Indians are getting poorer in a global world

Total exports in 2022-23 USD $770.18 Billion
Total exports in 2013-14 USD $651.22 Billion (at present dollar conversion rates)

That is a meagre 18.26% growth in 10 years

My big question to the present dispensation what are you going to do that the next 5 years are a total departure from the squeeze and slides experienced in last 10 years? Also question for opposition is the same.

Please share your manifestos. Also the existing dispensations needs to show what they promised in 2019 and what they delivered. more

Also compare the salary people used to get in 2014 with the current one. I've seen people lifestyle is getting better. Most of houses has at least one vehicle now, people are having more foreign trips comparatively. more
Yes, it's true that we are getting poorer across the globe. Our average per capita GDP is one of the lowest in the world as well as bottom of the pyramid in Asia. Our Power of Purchase Parity is very shocking though size of the economy appears very big and 5th largest economy. This is primarily due to unusual spike of essentials and consumption in value along with Govt. expenditure. We are losing our status in various fronts of life across the globe. Still Govt. is reluctant to discipline the price of essentials that may bridge the gap of economic disparity and build a healthy nation. Now govt. has imposed taxes on every item in daily use to generate revenue and petroleum and petroleum base products are considered as Golder geese. more
This phenomenon is all over the world from last 3-4 years. Look at the economy of USA. It is going for huge debt, which is not permissible as per their earmarked standards of borrowings. Even China is losing its GDP growth. If We have achieved a growth in GDP, it is a matter of great pride. The global price rise is big matter of concern. It is a time of testing for the whole world. more
In May 2004, the sugar price was Rs.14/= per kg which went up to Rs. 40/= in 2014, i.e. a hike of 185% Farmers suicide was the daily news during 2004-2014 which has now abolished. Dependency on China is reduced which was escalated during 2004-2014. Now Bharat has turned into the Fifth economy of the World and soon will be third. Where are the stone palters in Kashmir The achievements are endless. more
Why not you make a comparison of performance of the present government in all fronts as a whole to know the factual ! more
