Aravli hills have many vacant spaces having no trees. Mainly it has keeker trees
Planting fruit tree like mangos or jamun should not disturb flora and fauna rather it should help natural food generation for foerst birds and animals in addition to environment.
However I shall try to consult some expert in the field for advice more

I think if man will just leave the forests alone....they can take care of themselves.... much better...... The challenge is to zone them as forests first, then prevent/eliminate encroachments..... aka farmhouses, "Baba" Ashrams, etc.... and dumping of garbage, malwa, etc.... this is the REAL CHALLENGE..... in my humble opinion. This begs the question..... what does the "Forest Department" do right now... is this not what they are "supposed" to do... But once again goonda and political raj financed by the real estate "mafia"..... is not going to let this happen..... easily... this much is certain.... yes there will be many many "dead bodies" before the forests get.... their due. ARE YOU READY...??? more
Also , I was reading that MCG/HUDA is going to fence the land belonging to them to avoid squatters from using it. THE authorities can invite citizens to sow any seeds(we have been collecting as advised by green groups) such as bel , nimbu , jamun, mango and any other and even plant saplings of giloy, aanwla , tulsi , aloe vera.etc... before monsoon .whatever survives......will be so good for the environment. If in future, that land is needed for construction, the trees can be responsibly replanted at another location. The citizens who have planted anything there could come back regularly and see how their plant is doing.. Inclusive management by citizens will encourage good practices for the future in keeping their city healthy and green more
Very good idea mr Rajvir Singh more
I agree with Mr. Kaushal, everything is possible!!! I suggest a volunteer group may be formed to identify certain patches / areas before onset of monsoon for (a) to make small check dams / water bodies to collect rain water which should sustain for few months and act as natural source of water for flora and fauna and around which the fruit (wild varieties) bearing trees can be planted. Keekars pruned branches can be utilised for fencing / guarding the saplings. more
It is best to keep the Aravalis as close to their natural state as possible. Fruit trees like mango and jamun did not grow wild in the Aravalis as far as I know. It is best to plant trees that would grow naturally. for example, keekar and similar indigenous trees can do with very little water and would grow well. Mango may not. Of course, we should ensure while planting more trees that we do not add trees like the Vilaiti keekar. more
