Hello Friends here is latest worst experience of me. Dated: 16/11/2015. I booked my family tickets from Ajmer to Pune for Train: Ajmer Mysore Garib Nawaz exp. 16/11/2015 in a Tatkal quota on 15/11/2015. I logged in exactly at 11a.m. It showed 257 seats available. Hence I booked my tickets. but when I received a message It showed W/L 59, 60. I'm just confused how is it possible. And once we proceed further with booking, seat is blocked for us, and still W/L. After 3 to 4 hours it came up to 35. Hence My family boarded the train. And when the T.C arrived, He stated that there is no name in the list and ticket is cancelled. Due to the W/L E-ticket and charged me fine + ticket charges, and mentioned me I will get back my refund online. I don't understand, If the W/L E-ticket don't work, then why do INDIAN RAILWAYS provide option for online booking when the ticket is in W/L on official INDIAN RAILWAYS website??? INDIAN RAILWAYS please stop bullying people.

But I dont have any question abt the ticket. My question is that if E ticket doesnt work why is there an option for Online booking even if it shows the quota is in W/L. more

I will say, do not inter the train if you don't have valid ticket. we are not reading the term and conditions while booking the ticket. TC is doing there job. we have to ask our self the amount we pay to travel the is it sufficient to run the train. more

And while travelling to Ajmer from Pune forward journey. my ticket was also in W/L. When asked to T.C the answer I got back is all the Sleeper births are full. Ac coach was available. Ans further I moved to S2 coach, almost 10 to 15 births were empty. And no one arrived till morning. more
