It is not that one doctor or so is not fair. The problem is that the biz model of these hospitals is based on fleecing sick and gullible patients who trust entirely on the doctors. The rot is too deep as the doctors' salary is partly fixed and partly on incentives. Freelance Doctors refer to various non-invasive test centers where they have a cut. Getting admission into a govt medical college thru AIPMT is extremely difficult. Some 1850 seats are available for a general student all over the country. The seats in various state govt colleges are over and above this. So several get into private colleges whose total package is some Rs 40-50 lacs for the entire course. Thereafter the PG studies is even more costly in private colleges. Now these doctors after they enter job are under tremendous debt burden which they somehow manage to extract by any and all means. Several such male doctors get into marriage by taking massive dowry which is used partly or wholly to pay off the debt burden. How do we come out of this malaise? During deciding on stents, the patient party has to choose from the various models and the costliest ones are the drug eluting stents which too comes in various generations. How does a patient even know that the stent fitted is the ones the patient party had paid for. Trust is the only way forward. So if we discount Metro Heart, Asian, Escorts then how many big hospitals are left in faridabad? Do not know much about how things are handled at sarvodaya. more

My experience has been pretty same.. Dr. Bansal will misguide and charge people heavily.. Would not recommend any one to try Metro Hospital.. Good Option is Delhi Heart and Lungs at Jhandewalan compared to any Faridabad Hospital.. Even my experience was not so good at Asian Faridabad. more

I myself has witnessed about 4 years back when I was admitted for chest pain and Dr advised small blockage & inserted stunt in one vain next day Dr. Bansal told me that 2 more stunts needed to be inserted. On this we sought the 2nd opinion & one of the doctor told me why Dr. Bansal is not performing Bypass when condition is so bad as per Metro. And he advised me to conduct 1 test & took a call no need of any stunt or Bypass. Today I am on medication only. That is how hospital has been built & now he is more focused on villagers as he cannot make fool of locals. I think now most of the doctors & hospitals wants only money how it comes no matter. Service to humanity is a last word known to them more
