I heard few days back that most of the Aadhar Centres are not working. I just visited a centre near my office in prominent location of Indraprastha Estate and found the information to be correct. Now the question arises on the one side Income Tax Department has made mandatory condition of Aadhar Card and on the other side The centres are closed. With this post, I am inviting members to kindly list out the issues being faced in the Aadhar card. One such issue as an example is there is difficulty in getting upadation of registered mobile number as a result of which it become difficult to seed Aadhar number with PAN. more

Whatever the posts are being posted is towards only creation of awareness and convincing the readers not to succumb to the pressure of corrupt practices. Yes it is true,I am told every time the problem of updation in software/hefty fee for running the adhar centre.we don't know the exact reason . sometimes we are told to contact 1947. more

Yes, in my case I along with my family members enrolled for Aadhaar card on 01st April 2017, my wife & daughter got Aadhaar card in 2 months & since it was indicated as 90 days required, I wait till June End. Later made follow up with all related local offices. when didn't received proper reply, send email to Aadhaar card customer cared center on 17th July & again send reminder on 24th July with copy to income Tax department. As I can't file ITR for this year until I link both Aadhaar card & PAN card. Immediately Aadhaar Card customer care office replied as needs to re-enrol for getting Aadhaar card. And in Pune only 4-5 center (General post offices) who accept only 20 Nos. aadhaar card applications for repairing (correction in names /date etc). So the reply has been forwarded to ITR and said as I couldn't able to file return if this situation continues. more
