cleanliness is a way of life with us every day and minute after every task and job and not done by 2 hours a week! more

We the morning walker of sector 23 Dwarka are cleaning our park after morning walk for the last 4 years. For the last 4 Sundays 3/4 of us assemble at one corner park at 5.30 PM sharp and clean three park and other parks and finally we come to mall. Moment we find some one throwing plate we pick up and put in dust bin.Already impact and awareness is there. Ice cream walls and other vendors keep the parks clean themselves and hardly any body throw litter in the market. Our next target is Pochan pur village more
Action is needed more than discussion. Its time we stop being critical and start working seriously towards a cleaner India. more
Mr. Gopinath, with due respect, rather than blaming and cursing our country about all the bad it is made up of, we must focus on how this opportunity can be used to make India a cleaner and better place to live for the generations to follow. Sacking people is easy, but who will take up their positions so quickly. Radical changes happen only in books; in practical life the process is much slower. Wish you happy brooming :) more
I agree with Chris Pohl that this is something which one have to adopt it as part of their day to day life. As we are doing other things in life like eating, sleeping, listening etc., it's a shame on our Indians that someone at Prime Minister level had to sensitize people about cleanliness. This shows how insensitive we are in our life and no care for fellow beings that exist with us. Why someone has to come and educate us that how cleanliness should be adopted into our life. If we are kids, then it is understandable. Being grown up citizens and holding important positions in the society, its a pity that the nation needs a motivation to do this activity. The people in municipal corporations and municipalities need to be sacked immediately and handover the waste management activity to the private companies who has the strength of providing necessary infrastructure for collecting and crushing the waste. more
2 Hours x 1B people = Cleaner life. When an effort starts, it starts small before it becomes a habit. more
