Issues faced with Aadhaar: Inputs Sought

Over the last 6 months, we have received several posts on issues faced by people with Aadhaar. With this post we would like to seek your inputs on the various issues you have experienced with Aadhaar in the last 12 months. The idea here is to better understand this and escalate it to the Government for necessary corrective action.

We look forward to your inputs! more

If the Aadhar data is well protected, the linking should not be questioned. more
No problem so far. more
The greatest problem faced while linking Aadhar is mismatching of fingerprints. Perhaps matching iris will be workable and full proof. more
My aadhar was not linked to the PAN and my CA suggested that I do so immediately. He asked me to go to Canara Bank as there was a unit there to do so. The man at Canara Bank harrassed me so much that I had to make a complaint to the manager who tried to help me. I had to literally go ten times to the bank and when I did so, he would invariably tell me that the system was not working or that he could not come in. In the end I ended up going to Indian Bank and getting the card updated in one go. I complained to the aadhar unit and they assured me that they will take it up very strictly with the individual. more
We had a problem with Aadhar card. We have given mobile number with aadhar and it worked for about three years and all of a sudden we are told that aadhar and phone are not linked. Do not know who has changed the data and how safe is our biometric data. more
