India @ 73: How people foresee India developing in the next 3 years

Many of you participated in the 73rd Independence Day survey in the circle. Below is the final survey report which indicates that while most of us believe that India's clout in the world will further rise in the next 3 years, more of us now believe that the growth of India may not be equitable.

Kindly go through the survey report and share the link with your friends and family via whatsapp, social media as well. Also, if you have transformational ideas to transform India in the next 3 years, please share them below (Below are some of the ideas from the members)

India @ 73 - How Indians see India developing in the next 3 years

Transformative Ideas from Citizens

1.Garbage collection and disposal to be given to private companies who should do it during the night time
2.Rain water harvesting should be made compulsory for every apartment complex
3.The present taxation system should be removed and a flat transactional tax should be applied
4.Minimum education level should be specified for candidates to be eligible for elections
5.Bureaucrats should be made to deliver by restructuring their salary into base and incentive with incentive linked to output and performance to objectives/KRAs
6.Electoral reforms where every citizen and corporate contributes X% of their income to a political party of their choice
7.Compulsory and free education up to year 10. After that, depending on caliber, person should be guided to a professional course
8.Taking loan recovery actions against Top 2000 Bank loans defaulters and complete the process in one year
9.Scraping reservation based on caste or religion and bring in scholarship for the economically backward
10.Cash payment above Rs. 1000 should be banned – only plastic or electronic money should be used with incentive for the same
11.Mandatory outreach and citizen contact via Social Media for every Government department at Central State and Local levels
12.Creation of model districts (Center-State-District partnership) where any organization can set up an office/factory in X number of days with no ongoing inspector/bureaucratic hassles and a single window/web based customer service. more

Strengthen democratic values. Allow and listen dissent. Don't use Govt agencies for political purpose. Strengthen communal amity and understanding. Human rights should be protected. more
For this to happen, every citizen must be sincere and honest in their actions to follow the rules and regulations enacted by the government. Same is the case with the bureaucrates. On top of it, head of the states and centre and netas must set an examle towards this and be role models to citizens and act in the interest of the nation. If this is done, certainly, we can see a shining India in the foreseeable future. more
The points enumerated are good and needs no confirmation. The country will be greatly benefited on being implemented. more
My personal views and recommendations;
1. It is a good suggestion for handing over the responsibility of collection of Garbage to a Private a Private Organisation. But who is going to ensure whether the responsibility is being carried out systematically and correctly? This implies that the Government Official is above all in exercising his power and performing duties for the benefit of the Society to which he belongs to. He should be blemish less in Financialm dealings.
Secondly, offering this responsibility to a Private Body should be not on favoritism but absolutely on capability basis and conforming to the Qualitative Requirements (QRs) prescribed.
Second issue , regarding Harvesting of Rain water, there exists a SOP in all State Governments. But implementation of the same conscientiously is needed. This is absent in our people, that is, those to make the harvesting system and those inspecting that the system has been carried out correctly. If this is achieved, the system will function and people need not face water crisis.
Not out of context to the above a strict Policy in digging Bore well indiscriminately should be made so that ground water is not tapped mercilessly.
In our country, Reservation Policy which was introduced as a temporary measure is being extended continuously for personal benefits of the electoral candidates and not for the people who are affected. The policy should be for education without diluting the standard of performance. This policy should not be for recruitment. Presently the policy is made for recruitment and promotion also. This will demoralise those who are good in the field of work.

Two things are very important and also reflected in the survey.....ease of doing business needs further improvement...one story is being heard about the auto sector that dealer needs to pay GST while taking delivery of stock which is sold may be after six months....secondly the disbursal of the subsidies to individual account is being blocked by the bank officials in collusion with the local leaders....this also needs remedy....other areas will be hopefully driven by the IT sector and already mentioned by our friends more
