People like to visit certain country to spend their Vacation and choose the operator like They choose these vendors since they have relevant experience and operator to plan a wonderful trip for the Travellers. We recently opt for the services of the for international Holidays in the August Month. We were given the assurance by the that tourist Visa can be avail in few weeks . We have already paid significant amount of the package to the company. However our Visa was not approved by the embassy and we could not get the services of the Package. However , we have contacted them multiple times about the status of the Visa but they never get us an update. We are facing percent cancellation fees on the deposited amount. However, We failed to understand the reasoning behind such harsh penalty by the company. We request the government to take strict action against such vendors so that they do not harass the customer.
Mr Ravi, Has promised you that you will be getting VISA or was it your responsibility to arrange for VISA.
Have they told you that this is the amount you will loose if you do not get VISA. more

Mr. Ravi, why are you feeling so helpless. it is surprising that you have not reached the consumer forum as yet.
Also nothing stops you from filing a police complaint against this company, hopefully you have all communication in mails or some other presentable format to the authorities.
This is the only way of correcting such agencies, or they continue swindling anyone, if there is strict restriction shown by a few people they will learn their lessons. more

I feel , Most of the problems are faced due to inadequate care at the time of purchase of services and products. We do not ask questions and take clarifications appropriately. In the instant case, did we ask whether the visa service is a gratitude service or it is chargeable and is included in the package services. Both are having different implication. We do not seek complete terms and conditions. You can modify the petition to mandate for complete disclosure or stopping for any anti consumer practices if any. In my view Visa may not be offered services as mo one can guarantee issue of Visa. more

Mr.Virmanis observation is right, but i have a submission.One important reason we purchase these or such services is because we are not well informed and try to seek help from the service providers for which we pay them handsomely.Unfortunately some of the unscrupulous ones dont give you all the correct information and conceal some important facts till we pay.Since we are not well informed we at times even do not know what all questions to ask and trust them. Should it not be the responsibility of the service provider to give us all relevant information truthfully in the first place so that we dont get stuck later to get exploited. T.K.RAINA more

Mr. R.P.Meena, I appreciate the interest that you showed in public interest on behalf of the travelers. You had also cited an example about the promise from to acquire tourist Visa within few weeks. If you want people to sign your petition you should also give details of when you opted for their services and when you paid . Now how long since you paid. Also is important to give /attach the copies of services /conditions that were offered / stipulated . That will credibility to the Appeal so that the signatures will come as expected. more
