Union Minister for External Affairs
The left behind parents of Indian origin living abroad have been the victims of international parental child abductions for which India has been serving by default a haven for the child abductors as it ranks second next only to Mexico in the world. This is because India has been reluctant to be a signatory to The Hague Convention since the year 1989 even though National Law Commission recommended that India should sign The Hague Convention in order to stop abuse and cruelty to children and their exploitation by parental child abductors. The number of such child abductions has been skyrocketing in India as there is no law to prevent this ever growing menace.

 -
Parental child abductions across the world have been sending shock waves making the children to lose confidence and faith on governance of the world nations as they are rendered psychologically depressed and socially inferior for no fault of them. This cruelty should end forthwith to make the children to lead a normal healthy and happy life to serve as worthy citizens wherever they live. more
