I purchased Mi Redmi 5 pro in the month of July 2018 by paying Rs.14999/- ,.I lost it on 09.01.2019. I made police complaint for trace. As on today my mobile not traced because of non availability of anti theft features ( tampered proof IMEI number) in the mobile. Police has informed me it is not traceable as mobile’s IMEI numbers are not tampered proof. After having paid 15k , the mobile manufacturer not providing proper securities in his product, he has to make good the loss. Appealing Government to look into it and people buying high end mobiles should ensure anti theft features ( non tamper of IMEI number) enabled. Otherwise it is profitable to mobile manufacturers, any way we are going to buy their product once again. This is one of marketing tactics. I urge Mi mobile company to compensate me with damages. more
