Sir I engaged M/s Correct-X Relocation to pack and transport my house hold items
from Jamnagar to Chennai on 31.3.2019. The total of 25 items are packed and loaded
at my Jamnagar residence on 31.3.2019 and shifted to agency's go down but actually
moved from their Jamnagar go down on 8.4.19 and finally unloaded at my Chennai
residence on 13.4.19. l noticed at the time of unloading that one suitcase trolley has
not been received. I immediately informed MrRavindra Soni who was the contact
person from the packer/mover agency. He was trying to convince me that only 24
packages were received by him at his Jamnagar godown from my house but he was
the one who counted and prepared the packing slip. I
personally saw that suitcase trolley getting packed and it was kept along with AC
outdoor unit. There is no professional guilt from the agency for not able to locate the
missing item and Mr.Ravi is trying to cover up saying that he counted wrongly. He did
not inform me that he did not receive 25 items after receiving at his go down from my
jamnagar house and he did not tell me about the missing suit case till I called him on
15.4.19 to inform him about the missing item. In spite of repeatedly following up with
the agency i could not get any information about the missing suitcase which was in
packed condition and along with that my tummy trimmer/skipping ropes are also
missing Please arrange to take up the issue with M/s Correct-X Relocation agency and
get me the suitcase trolley immediately
1.The transporter
does not have professional ethics.His duty is to pack, load and reach the
goods to the desired location safely with out loss or damage.2.He
packed,loaded 25 items at my residence on 31.3.2019.When the goods
reached his place he found only 24 items .Immediately he should have
checked the packing list with the items received and he could have easily
found out the missing item and it was hardly 2 hours after shifting he
could have easily traced the item with his men to see whether it was
unloaded at a wrong place during transit.He did not inform me also.He
informed me that the item was missing only after I brought to his notice
after receiving the items at my end on 15.4.19.I am upset with the way
transporter has handled the issue.Replacing the suitcase is not the
solution.The transporter unnecessarily delayed the issue.Even now he can
trace the item and restore it tome.I request consumer forum to take up
strongly with the transporter and restore my package
