Airtel is selling the vital information of its subscriber /customers as, once the Airtel mobile connection is activated after the consumer submits all the necessary documents like Pan Card / Aadhar Details /Address proof / email / , we start getting mails /messages from Tom Dick and Harry advertisements.
This is not as per the laid down rules of TRAi.
This needs to be escalated to the authorities concerned for redressal.

I am now convinced that my airtel connection during my tenure with Ingersoll Rand I ltd Gidc Naroda Ahmedabad was tapped collectively by cyber criminal employees of their erstwhile sister concern and child company Dresser Rand I Ltd Gidc Naroda Ahmedabad, owned by Siemens Oil and Gas ably supported by Ingersoll Rand, owned by KKR group. After exiting this company, my personal connection is being tapped since 2016. This tapping crime is going on for years now. They tap my calls and defame me wherever I get employed, hence spoiling my opportunities. I had written to the management of both companies and also filed an online grievance petition with PMO office, but the situation aggravated as No action was taken by central/state agencies till date as these criminals are enjoying their sweet time with their respective entities as these activities are instigated. more

I agree, Airtel does not follow any privacy rules, they want to make illegal money out of un-scourplus advertisements to unsuspected users. I strongly urge all airltel users to change their service providers to other providers who respect your privacy. more
