To prevent spread of Corona through employees many suggested to have work from home (WFH). It’s s a welcome move. But the benefit is limited as implementation is difficult for majority employees except in IT Sector.
What we will do with employees and workers who are directly involved in Manufacture? The only solution is to shut down if we intend to control spread of virus.
This is a calamity threatening humanity .No known medicine is available till now.In such a situation let us not worry about GDP, NPA , capital adequacy, budget deficit , CPI, Inflation, Growth rate and such jargons. What is the use of such jargons and analysis when the humanity is in trouble. If there is NO life what use of such statistics?
If the inflows into the Dams is abnormal, then NO meaning in saving water & opening the shutters in a jiffy just before it breaks . It will ruin the society. So decisions should be taken on a calculated risk ?
Situation in the India, especially Maharashtra and Kerala is poised for a break down The exponential growth phase may put us in danger. There is NO meaning in lamenting that we made a mistake in taking timely decisions. The decision makers may consider the following.

1) Declare Medical emergency .
2) Declare Curfew for minimum 28 days.
3) Close our boarders with neighbouring countries.
4) Those who are s in other countries ,on visit, may be brought to India through embassy.
5) Those who are gone out of India for employment and affected by CORONA may be brought to INDIA through embassy.
6) The embassy may be asked to be responsive to such calls.
7) No public Transport and private cars and two wheeler except Government Vehicles or Vehicles on Duty.
8) Cycles be allowed.
9) Cancel all ceremonies and functions and festivals
10) Employees of all Sectors be given compulsory paid leave.
11) WFH may be compulsory for those type of work manageable on line.
12) Declare cancellation of all Public Holidays in the coming YEAR.
13) Give compensation to Daily workers at Rs.100 or 200 under employment guarantee scheme
14) Task force comprising YOUNG and healthy individuals , Police, Military and sub -military personnel ,Doctors, Nurses and other Health workers. For each area.
15) All ambulance, Government Vehicles, Military Vehicles, Police Vehicles etc to be pooled Such vehicles be used for transport of Patients to Hospital and back home plus Corona affected persons.
16) Publicity of contact numbers be be given through TV and News paper and mike announcements.
17) The Task force shall organise centralised cooking in each area (Amma Unavagam in Tamilnadu) and deliver food for the Daily workers ,elderly people and those who are needy. District Colletor shall be the head for each District.
18) Curtail Budgetary allocation for Defence and all other subsidies and divert the funds for Corona Mission.
19) Hike fuel charges to by 25% or more.
20) Contribution by Individuals and companies for Corona Mission Fund to be Tax exempted at 200%.
21) The corona Mission fund be centrally Managed
22) The funds may be used to support the daily workers as per point 8
23) Halt all Income Tax proceedings& all recovery Proceedings by BANKS
24) Declare one year holiday for accounting fresh NPAs
25) Extend Financial Year to June 30th.
26) Close all schools ,colleges, Temples, Church ,mosques , Hotels and Bars., Malls, Cinema Theatre, parks, beach, stadiums, exhibitions, pilgrimage Gyms
27) Give notice to public that those who violate curfew shall be send to isolation camp till curfew is withdrawn
