MASSIVE DESTRUCTION OF GREEN BELT OUTER RING ROAD DELHI
Vide this petition I would like to draw your kind attention towards massive destruction of Green Belt planned by Delhi Metro for their Phase IV Project at Outer RIng Road. Phase IV Metro Expansion project on outer ring road covers the Outer Ring Road from Janakpuri to Mukarba Chowk.
There is beautiful Green Belt on outer RIng Road from Deepali Chowk to Madhuban Chowk and it is just like lungs of this area.
Delhi Metro has started soil testing inside the Green Belt thereby planning to destroy the Green Cover of the area. Lots of Trees shall also be uprooted.
As you know, the pollution level of Delhi and particularly Rohini. Destruction of large scale Green Cover shall further deteriorate the situation.
We the residents of Pocket B5 Sector 8 strongly object to this massive destruction of Green Cover of our area and request Delhi Metro to shift the elevation outside the Green Belt. There is service road outside which can be utilized for this purpose.
I would request to kindly listen to our request favourably.
