DELHI TO BE UT DIRECTLY CONTROLLED BY RULING PARTY AT CENTRE
The US capital Washington DC, like Delhi, is also not a state. Washington comes under federal jurisdiction, thereby directly controlled by Congress. Statehood will give D.C. the representation in Congress, which they lack currently (at least Delhi is represented in Parliament by seven Members of Parliament). When American constitution was written more than 200 years back, they created a district (capital) that the federal government could administer itself for its convenience. The apprehension was that if a state owns it, there could be hindrances.
Time and again its getting proved.As such the Union Territories directly managed by Centre are always a better way of management with no political confusion.
Capitol is a place where heart of nation lies and one cannot afford too much unplanned crowding ,political issues lingering like shaheen bagh and Riots most unlikely and than religious politico overtones like jamaiti.
The Capitol is the seat of power and it has to be absolutely protected from disease enemy by all means however here it has not happened and now the city medical infrastructure is very tensed due various decisions of opening up which did not follow a logical pattern and today the city the city residents are suffering and country top brass is affected.
Can we allow this .Absolutely no and so its time to by act of parliament or an ordinance Delhi be directly governed by central Government by making changes in line with how Washington is governed
