Interest for FDR on Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd
Inspite of sending a Blank cancelled cheque with a letter on 28 2 2018 they could not send me the interst payment of Rs.1977 to my new account with AB., instead they say that have been credited to my BOI Account. Approached the company in chennai over phone and emails,, and to their Mumbai office for the past one month no action taken by the company. Atlast i got the information from their Mumbai Office that they transferred the amount 1977 to BOI and given me the UTR No. with which I could speak to BOI officials, who said that the account closed and sent back the amount to the
respective company.., the mail received from BANK OF INDIA WAS FORWARDED to SHRIRAM TRANSPORT COMPANY that the account closed(proof of closed account pass book endorsed by banker BOI on 24 Nov 2017.sent to STFC by email.
This is the status of the FDR with Public Limited Companies. Pl be aware of this act accordingly. A big lesson learnt by me that I should not put FDR in STFC and any company in future.
