Hdfc Bank account never gets closed

Dear Sir/Madam, I opened a salary account in HDFC by my employer at that time, Metlife (GOSC) sec. 135 - Noida back in 2010. Name of account holder - Peeyush Ranjan. After leaving the organization in 2013, I visited one of HDFC's branch in Nirman Vihar, New delhi, Pin - 110092. Requesting for closure of the account as i had no requirement for it any more. I was given a form and i filled and it was submitted to the Branch manager, after few months I realized that i was still getting emails from them, It was actually not closed from their end at that time. I visited the home branch in 2015 asking to close it as it's been almost 2 years and i had no dues with them as i even cleared their credit card dues as well and got that closed. I was asked to either get this converted into a salary account or to invest through a fixed deposit of 50,000 only then they will close it (in my home branch in Noida). I had no money at that time. I sent them numerous complaints and received email saying that there was no such request made at HDFC bank Nirman Vihar Branch. When I complaint on consumer forum's wbsite this year in march I received call from my HDFC home branch from Vinay kumar pandey asking me to collect a bank account closure form from a nearby branch and send it to the branch address by courier and they will close it as soon as they receive it. I did the same. After 2-3 days i got another call from the same branch from Sarvesh Kumar who asked me to deposit some amount in my Hdfc bank account as it was a Dormant account , He quoted that the bank won't be able to close the account unless i don't do any transaction on it, he advised me to deposit at least one rupee to activate the bank account again, I tried to transfer funds online but as my account was dormant now it din't go through, then Sarvesh advise me to make payment through a cheque, after 3-4 days my cheque with one rupee amount was cleared and the account got activated, After two days I called Vinay back again as he was the one who called me at the first place, I asked him if my account has been closed now as i have done all the formalities he asked me to do and even now the account was active so he was ok to close but he replied that he left HDFC and to contact Sarvesh for any further queries, From that day which was in March I have calling bank and Sarvesh and everytime he says that it will be closed in 1-2 days , he has been doing this continuously for 3 months now, Please look into the matter and get my bank account closed as the attitude of bank and it's staff is not positive at all toward closing my bank account. Specially Sarvesh Kumar who has been harassing me now for a couple of months now. I have observed from my past experiences that such private banks fool their customers at the time of closing the bank account by not providing any acknowledgement of closure and later on charging hefty amount to get this done as I had the same issue with Kotak Mahindra bank but they closed it, with HDFC it's a worst nightmare.
First and foremost just visit to your home branch and ask for Complaint Book - prescribed by RBI. Lodge your complaint - whrein one copy you will receive then & there itself.

Subsequently, lodge complaint with RBI - Vigilance cell nerrating all your communications and episod.
