Fraud by UBER & it's Driver

Just wanted to caution every one of the cheating done by UBER & it's driver " On 12th of May I had booked a cab though my mobile App to go to Terminal 2 IGI airport. The journey started at 1630 hrs & I reached the airport by 1700 hrs since I am a frequent traveller I just asked the driver if the payment has been received by him through Paytm wallet which is automatic. The fare earlier displayed on Uber App was Rs.293/- . I boarded the flight & left for Bangalore but after landing I noticed that a sum of Rs,1481/-has been deducted from my Paytm wallet which included an extra trip to sector 161 Noida. I immediately lodged the complaint with UBER using their APP since there is no help line number Till date there is no response from UBER on my complaint nor they have acknowledged the receipt of my complaint.

      Driver may not end the trip. Issue should be investigated by UBER.

      I had a similar experience. On the 19th April I took a ride from my home to the nearest metro station on an Uber Share. The bill was only Rs 49. To my dismay the driver was extremely offensive and used abusive language. Rs 49 was deducted at the end of the ride. I complained to Uber of his behaviour later when I had more time. On the 24th for some unknown reason another sum of Rs 240 was deducted from my account against the same ride of the 19th. I wrote back to Uber but arbitrarily refunded only half the amount. Further communication has yielded no result. Needless to say I have withdrawn Uber's authorisation from Paytm and made sure that there is no money in my Paytm wallet. When I contacted Paytm they too had no resolution as well. more

      THE PROBLEM IS UBER DOES NOT GIVE CUSTOMER CARE NO AND MAIL ID FOR RIDER CUSTOMERS. EVEN WHEN THE DRIVER CANCELS THE TRIP. THE CANCELLATION CHARGES ARE CHARGED FROM THE RIDER CUSTOMER, WHICH IS ILLOGICAL. IN SUCH CASES DRIVER SHOULD BE CHARGED HEAVY PENELTY FOR CAUSING HARRASSMENT TO RIDER CUSTOMER AND BAD NAME TO COMPANY. more

      I am surprised as I often had issues but they were normally resolved initially. However, lately I find resolution is no longer being done by Uber. more
