This petition is against the 'Denial of Warranty' by Apple and any other company for that matter. Accidental Damage which is not caused by any physical damage is an unjustified reason given by the companies to the consumers to escape their responsibility to serve under warranty period. Already the company has excluded many possible and common causes from warranty coverage ie physical damage and water damage.
I purchased a mobile handset on 21st January 2019 and in July 2019 the screen malfunctioned. I requested for repair of my device at the authorized service center and submitted the device on July 20th. My device was returned without repair on August 10th.
I was denied the repair under warranty on pretext of internal modification and accidental damage, while the device did not have any signs of any damage of any kind.
I strongly oppose this resolution of my case and seek support of all aware consumers to make my voice reach the Apple India Head hoping that he would be able to do justice in this case.
