The functions of the office of the Transport Commissioner include registration of motor vehicles, issue of driving licenses, grant of permits, checking of offences by motor vehicles and drivers,road safety etc.

The department is unresponsive to the issues raised for many many months. Despite Govt. of India main focus on promotion of digital payment, the department could not provide active online payment system. The link is always deactivated for the best known reason to them. It is not a case of unnoticed issue as lot many reminders written without any response from the department.
