Tiruchirapalli Junction is certainly a Very Clean Station indeed ! But, we certainly need to improve convenience to passengers by providing escalators in all platforms. Another feature I have noticed is the length of the platforms ! We need to provide Walkalators in all important stations.

Following are the area for improvement at Tiruchirappalli junction.
1.perpaid taxi /auto service
2.Removing the Parking slot for VIP. It causes most inconvenience especially to aged passengers
3. Cleanliness is for better,but still there is scope for improvement.
4.Lots of people are sleeping before the ticketing area. It is inconvenient to the passengers
5. Parcells are dumped on the platforms
6. Vending machine for PF tickets

Tiruchirappalli is fairly clean station, considering the traffic.
The facility provided is insufficient. The chairs on the platforms are to be maintained. No of chairs are broken
The space in front of the ticketing counters are occupied by the people for sleeping. Leave alone the passengers, it appears other elements are also using this.
The parking area is divided for VIP's and others. Any vehicle with any party flag uses. Why there shall be such a huge space wasted for this purpose. It can be a small place, if there is whims and fancy to keep it.It can be near to the RMS area on the western side. Walking few more steps by so called VIP's to reach the train is nothing wrong.
Cleaning of trains at the station is back, but needs to be improved.
The parcels offloaded from the trains are not removed immediately, and posing inconvenience to passengers

Though located in the Divisional Headquarters, lack with cleanliness. After so many struggle escalators are going to be installed for two platforms only. Leaky roof in the first platform itself where all important trains are received.
