Reliance Infocom suffers from lack of interest at the level of Shri Anil Ambani who neither seems to understand telecommunications nor has retained competent technocrats. This company appears to be heading for a sell out. Basically the malady is lack of dynamic bandwidth allocation resulting in congestion and poor performance. One hopes that Shri Mukesh Ambani takes over this business.

I also agree with you. Might not be a fraud company but has a very disgusting customer service. I had a so bitter experience that I disconnected nearly all Reliance services on the same day. Be extra careful and keep evidence of nearly everything while dealing with any of their sales persons as most of them will play with you when their part of profit is done.

Reliance is a Fraud company. Initially they lure customers with tempting offers. Once you become the part of their system, you will be raped royally. Few months back they have migrated from CDMA to GSM without giving existing customers proper intimation. Reliance was heavily promoting their costly CDMA handsets and now they made them redundant once migrated from CDMA to GSM. Fortunately i was saved of Rs.28,000 since i have purchased a handset which works on both CDMA & GSM. Otherwise i would have lost heavily. Even my Reliance Landline number is discontinued and the equipment is made redundant. It's in Garbage now. Their GSM 2G network is too poor and you don't get signal / connectivity most of the time. 4G service is not yet available with them. I am one of the unfortunate customer who has opted for their "Zero Plan"few months back and i have paid the 24 months rental charges in advance. I will be in to loss if i port my number with other service provider . Anyhow, I have decided to port my number bearing the losses. Don't ever trust on them. They are big time cheaters."
