Navi Mumbai Police

The police of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and thane can be put in the average category, giving them 3 out of 5. It is easy to blame the police force, but the constraints viz -- shortage of manpower, poor training/retraining, low level of technological knowledge, low level of educational qualification, political interference, corruption are some of the banes of any police force. Another issue is the change of mind set of the police force particularly at the lower level where they should be made sensitive to human values and change of police force image that they are meant to be helpful to common man. if we want better police force, these issues need to be looked into otherwise things will deteriorate further. Mumbai and Navi Mumbai Police is good and I rate it 4. However, our system is such that it is controlled by politicians. Otherwise how dare any person more so politician can threaten and even assault a police personnel and then he is called in Mantralaya? Politics has spoiled police department and now we see a scenario that police personnel are hand in glove with these politicians.

We do not have any trust in Mumbai Police or Indian police. They just work for Politicians. Always they will say let go. They do not follow any rule for Goons and politicians and Big People. They suppress poor simple ordinary people and give fear to them. The IPC 144 is not suitable now for us for Bharat. It is to be removed from IPC it is not required.

I dont see any change what so ever.The Police talks to you as if you are a thief or criminals.The Beat officers and also the PSi or even the Inspector does not know how to tail.They only abused.Everyone wants to make a fast buck.They will scare you to death and take money from you.Police are very corrupt.Money talks.The ACP and even DCP are not reachable.
