visited jasidih station in chatisgarh on 7th this month. though found the platform a bit clean but the information on trains are not maintained properly. the man at the inquiry can be compared to "angrez jamaneki jailor, jo kabhi nahin sudhar sakta" and seemed to be deaf and dumb. the outer of station is dirty and filthy. as usual street dogs are seen everywhere as in other stations of india.

Khurda Road: This is a divisional Head quarter, but he platforms are not maintained properly. Let the DRM visit some other divisional head quarter and with his experience, try to improve the station.

CHENNAI Central-- a big racket in existence !!
On 14th Oct. 2015 the Pre Paid Taxi Counter was "closed" after 7:30 pm leaving incoming passengers to the mercy of vultures masquerading as taxi drivers extorting helpless passengers. Agents were right on the platforms canvassing for taxi rides with the information that pre paid counter has closed for the day !! Can it be anything but a well engineered racket?
How can a station like Chennai operate without a 24X7 counter? Surely theer would be connivance at high levels. Can't the Railways do something about this which happens repeatedly?

Agree with comments of Giri Iyer. However, the Upper Class waiting room is locked most of the time, on the grounds that it tends to be used by others not entitled to this facility. To prevent misuse, this waiting room should be kept open at least 30 minute prior to arrival of major trains. Suggest a responsible staff be posted at the entrance to check entitlement of passengers using the facility.
Also, the toilets in the waiting room need better maintenance.The taps do not work and the toilers emit a foul smell, which permeates into the main waiting room hall.
