Only FIRST and second Platforms are maintained properly. Other Platforms are not maintained at all .

Kumbakonam station - 1) There is no point of sales machine at the reservation counters to make cashless payment. Payment has to be made in cash notes only.
2) There is no direct train to the western side of sub-continent except for the Sathapdi and Mysore express. It is causing for difficulties for the people coming from beyond Coimbatore and in Kerala to visit the temples of Kumbakonam. Also the single train to Mysore is causing mad rush of passengers in the general compartments. One day train can be run via , TRichy, Namakkal (instead of Erode) and Salem to Bangalore or atleast upto Salem and return to Mayiladuthurai.

New Delhi railway station is the victim of mismanagement of the railway officers.
1- It is very dirty except platform no. 1.
2- It was 29th of the July 2016 when R.A. of the New Delhi Railway station announced about the Train No. 18216 but display box on the platform no. 4 displayed the train no. 11058 and there was no coach display in any DB.
