It is causing for difficulties for the people coming from beyond Coimbatore and in Kerala to visit the temples of Kumbakonam. Also the single train to Mysore is causing mad rush of passengers in the general compartments. One day train can be run via , TRichy, Namakkal (instead of Erode) and Salem to Bangalore or atleast upto Salem and return to Mayiladuthurai.
