Indian Overseas Bank

I had an NRE as well SB joint A/c with IOB since its inception and it's the worst possible branch in our area to have an account with. whenever we visit to the branch for withdraw we have to stand for nearly 30 to 45 minutes and in case if want DD the staff will inform you submit your details and collect DD at second half. The staff is inefficient, unhelpful and they think they are doing us a favour. Still their systems are outdated and most often there server goes down. To collect fresh cheque book the staff will inform come and collect after three days. Above all the bank security guard pulls down the shutter 5 to 8 minutes earlier at lunch time when enquired the reply is they follow their timing. They have one ATM that also it is inside the bank and most often its breakdown. Such is the attitude. In short it's is the worst IOB bank in our area. I rarely goes to these bank nowadays since I opened another account with other bank.

Indian Overseas Bank branch at Sanpada Sector-3 is the worst branch to have an account with. Since 1998 we are having account not a single day if anyone comes to the bank to withdraw or make DD comes out after one hour. Its so irritating and the staff are usually less and not at all cooperating. They have their own timings. I request someone to visit and have a look at the banks dealing with the customers. Screening of cheques for withdrawal are very slow and poor.

IOB is the worst possible bank you can ever have an account with. I have an old account in IOB and whichever branch you go the staff is inefficient, laid back, unhelpful and they still have outdated systems. As recently as 10-15 days back whn this demonitisation prob started, I was standing in the que to deposit money in the bank and it was around 1.30 - 2pm the bank security guard locked up the door from inside, reason being staff its lunch time. We saw 3-4 huge lunch parcels being brought from hotel and it was shocking to see tht bank personnel were enjoying their lunch fr 30mts when the people were standing from early morning in the heat without water or food. On top of it the manager commented tht one cannot work on an empty stomach. Such is the attitude. Their ATMs too break down always, dont hv cash, their helpline too is not at all helpful.

ATM of IOB Kalyannagar,(1275) Hyd. where I have account for the past 15 years, shows almost PERMANENT display " temporarily out of order" for the last 2-3 years...
Staff are just normal, prompt for closing for lunch hour but, leisurely for resuming next cash session....
