Howrah (HWH)

Its very difficult to catch a train well on time from Howrah Station due to its poor and single side entry i.e. from East side. I request the authority to open its entry from West side also so that people can easily catch the train and can use western side for entry and exit. which will save time and money both

1.Entry to HWH had been historically terrible and that is why a lot of people get down at Santragachhi. Why? I do not know but there must be a solution.
2. There are two good eating outlets but they are not enough for the passenger load.
3. Signage display and announcements are good.
4. cleanliness is much below par particularly the old eastern railway side.
5. there is terrible mixing of local train passengers and long distance passengers which makes the movement miserable for long distance passengers. Some arrangement like in CSTM/ BCT may be desirable.
6. connectivity between old and new section should be improved.
