The great strategy that "country club/country vacation" is following to bluff a customer is as follows:
Day 1: We receive a surprise call from unknown person, saying sir/madam: "congratulations" your name got picked during the lucky draw with a note stating "this is not a promotional call or not a advertising call", it is simple you simply step in with your family collect your gift and step out. And if we ask any kind of cross question - for every thing the consent person give some reason.
Day 2: Customer with his happy family will step in, at the moment we step in they welcome us very warmly there they follow some process of filling up some details and then they invite us to sit in a room where all the other customers like us wait.
Here starts the actual drama: With a set of representatives who are "well trained".
1) They allocate separate round table for each family, and they allocate a representative for each family. And the guy will ask you to switch off your mobiles and they use signal jammer as well.
2) Then the Representative put all his efforts/talent to bluff the customer and these representatives are "well trained" for all the questions that usually a normal new comer ask. They are well trained to specifically do this job only. He will show some book-lets, Photos, brouchers and he will tell so many things, he offers foreign trips. And remember for every cross question they give nice answer. That is there talent.
Some examples that he spoke during the discussion - (One time payment for life time vacations, you get all your money return by selling the rooms allocated for you and there are specific partners to do this in case if we don't avail the vacation in any year, and you can sell your membership and we are here to help you at any point if you don't like the facilities, most important is: no need to pay the full money now sir, its an easy EMI, now you just pay what ever you have in your bank, later you can pay the remaining, mean while you can also taste the vacation/holiday and later you can decide whether to pay remaining, and other important thing is in between senior person Team lead to these representative will come he will show his talent by showing some other benefits, Initial they start with a huge figure more then 3.5 lacs for a membership and slowly come down to some fixed amount and will tell this is the special offer only for today.) So, that customer will book the membership today by paying some minimum amount around 10000 plus. Representative will also say, if you want you can cancel it tomorrow if you don't like it. like that very bad marketing strategy they are following.
3) And the shocking thing is that along with real customers they arrange few dummy customers which the real customer cannot identify them. And the main motive of these dummy customers is to act like real customers and all of a sudden the respective representative assign to this dummy customer will get up and he will announce with loud and proud voice - "Hey, lets grandly welcome our new member and bla bla..". This all drama is to motivate the real/actual customers.
4) And these representatives cleanly observe the body language, interest of the customer and suddenly they will offer few more benefits and finally they trap the customer. And whole this process will take more then a 3 hours by the time customer decides to go with the membership he will be very much tired, here they use the customers tiredness in a very cool fashion, with in 2 minutes they finish the complete process of payment and make the customer to sign on the agreement. As already customer is tired won't have that much time to read and understand the agreement and he totally depends/believes the representatives bla bla stories and do the signature.
Day 3: Customer will go through the Agreement and there he find so many surprises, and when come back and ask the respective representative he will tell some stories and grab the days, weeks etc.., and few weeks later he will block our number.
After few weeks: By this time you discuss with your respective banks and other fellows for the EMI's and other Interest stuff and realize the facts. Now, customer will receive a call from a different department stating that you need to pay the remaining due amount otherwise your membership will be cancelled and you will loose all the amount that you paid till now.
After couple of months: they start calling you many times form head office, accounts head bla bla they start blackmailing the customer you will loose all your amount that was paid till now. So, once you please come down to nearest office and we will arrange a new plan by requesting the officers so that at-least you can utilize the amount that you paid till now.
Again story repeats, these new talented people start showcasing there talent and will collect some more amount by showing some more benefits. (I crossed this stage) and now they started new drama.
