My experience:
1. The speed is not up to the mark
2. The actual speed is much much lower than what is claimed. For example, my package is for 512 kbps (BBG Combo UL 675), and the actual download speed is only about 60 kbps
3. I tried to adjust myself with that speed. But there is always some intermittent disturbance
4. In recent past, the disturbance has gone past my limit of patience .... appears for only a minute or so, then disappears for a long time ... 10 min to 30 min .... then comes again for few seconds or couple of minutes ..... then disappears again .... how thrilling ....
5. The BSNL office is just within 200 m away from my residence .... but very bad experience when I personally go to their office ...
6. They do not even show the courtesy to ask about my problem .... they keep chatting among themselves or with some friends .... keeping me waiting for long time .... because I do not have the culture of interfering into others' conversation ...
7. Finally when I interfere in their conversation .... and tell about my problem .... they simply say "thik ho jayega" .... then nothing happens .... people are so indifferent and casual about the customers .... !!!
8. One gentleman also told that they had rectified all the issues in my area .... and there cannot be any problem .... just see their attitude ..
9. On one occasion, I logged a complaint through their toll free number .... the complaint was closed by them without any rectification ....
10. One day one person commented .... " aap ne itna sasta package liya, isme apko keya connection milega?" (do not expect a good connection, since you have taken an inexpensive package) .... again see their attitude ...
So it is quite natural that people are rejecting BSNL .... I am also thinking about a switchover to some other service provider ..... if they do not change their attitude .... they will have tough time in near future ..
