You / Me need not be bike riders, but we can pass on this message to all those who do. Precaution is better than cure,

Important information for all bikers must share........ This is a freak incident that happened recently. A young man and his 4 yr old son went to a petrol bunk near Lal bagh (Bangalore) to fill in petrol for his bike. The boy was sitting on the pillion behind him. The helper who fills petrol held the petrol gun upwards, and turned towards the meter to re-set the meter. As soon as the setting was done the petrol came out gushing out of the gun - due to some malfunction - (at least that's what they said) in full speed and splashed all over the 4 yr old boy and his father. Petrol entered the eyes of the boy. Immediately the boy was taken into the cleaning area and was showered in a water jet. They washed his eyes with lot of water. But the boy could not see anything. The young man took the child to the hospital and immediately the hospital authorities put him in ICU. The kid was then transferred to Vittala Netralaya and after 2 days of treatment he got some vision again. Now he is all right and is at home. The doctors told that just because the water cleaning was done immediately, he has vision today otherwise the boy would have been blind by now. Petrol (along with impurities) can burn the tissues inside the eye. Now why am I writing this? Please take some precautions next time you are at a petrol bunk.
1. If the engine was in running condition, this could have caused a major Fire. So Switch off the engine in bunks.
2. Drop small kids and the person sitting behind you outside the bunk and fill in petrol. Kids are more sensitive than grown ups.
3. Ask the petrol bunk helper boy to hold the gun down. Even if there is such an accident let the petrol flow down and not on your face.
4. Share this post to as many people as possible, as many of our friends use two wheelers. more

Actually this has been posted in a wrong circle. It should have been in Good thoughts and Wisdom circle as the purpose of the post was to warn you and make you wiser more
But I thinks every circle has a purpose here. If I hae chosen to be in health, I would like to only receive health related information or content, not general forwards. more
Mr. Prasad, apologies if I hurted your feeling as this was not my intention. In my opinion we should check the authenticity of the news when it comes as a true incident because we all share responsibility as responsible citizen to share only what is a confirmed news because the internment media posing new threat to society and it is important to sanitize the information before it reaches masses. If you see at hoax-slayer website you will find that most of such incident are fake which are spreaded through net to ignite some simple situations. We'll looking at the petrol related incident, I checked it further on wiki and haox slayer and found that, no doubt it is extremely dangerous for eye and treatment by washing with water is helpful. I m not sure about incident that happened but it may be true. So once again apologies for posting my message in hurry this could be due the reason that I m over cautious to behold the truth but my intention was not to create any issue out of it and i fell sorry that it had done which was not intended. more
