Last year I had purchased a Karbonn smart phone (A1+ Duple).During the year this phone had display problem nearly five to six times which on record of Karbonn and every time after approaching the authorised service centre they use to keep the phone for repairs for minimum one and half month and same problem repeated after repairs.Also every time they use to wrongly report to Karbonn that it is Physical damage.Karbonn was informed about the repetitive problem which occured several times and mobile is to be replace within guaranty period as it is manufacturing defect.Several Mails were sent and customer care contacted but every time Team Karbonn was showing least interested replied that authorised centre to be contacted.Complaint is given 8 to 9 times to M/s Karbonn for horrible and worst service from authorised centre as there is no reply or feedback from centre hence M/s Karbonn to take up the matter for replacement of mobile but they never reverted.In the mean time after warranty period I paid repair charges under protest for the same display defect but at the same time authorised centre damaged the mobile camera, again it was informed to Karbonn about their bad services.M/s Karbonn never gave replacement neither did they refund any Charges paid for repairs infact Mr Anand from team Karbonn said that they welcome any action against Karbonn .Finally with this harassment to consumer I would suggest that "Never buy a Karbonn Phone" as ultimately you find yourself as harassed consumer.
Sir, I bought a Karbonn cellphone, in the last part of January 2015 and it started trouble , mlike vibrating screen and making calls with out our knowledge. Checking their service centers near around, Kochin, all the phone numbers are wrong and I walked in each cell phone sellers to gather about their service centers. It took me 4 days to locate one in Kochin, 40 Km from here. By the time, 7 days passed and their guarantee period . Finally on 4th February I handed over the phone to them,Job sheet no. KJSPKR032215K434. They gave me to check back after 2 weeks. Since " SMART TECHOLOGIES" the Service people do not have the practice of answering their phone, I have to travel all the way, spending more than Rs 150/ , Bus + food,I did it more than 10 times in the last 6 months,with out any success. This service people say, they are not getting any spares from Karbonn. Finally, the owner of this service center talked to the Karbonn people and listed the phone, Damaged on Arrival to get a replacement. Since it was purchased through SNAPDEAL. com, their policy did not permit to replace the product after 7 days. So till today, I have no phone.The money is with Karnonn and the phone is wuith the Service Center. But I am happy to save 645 employees of a company from this Snapdeal while they were about to order KARBONN phone for ONAM. AND I REQUEST EVERYONE to keep away from "SLAP ON THE FACE.com and from Karbonn for your life and any occation you get. P G D Nair more
Well said Abhrodeep Nag not only this many of our mobile manufacturers are hybrids, half baked. They want to earn quick money either hook are crook. cont help TRAI has to intervene if they are serious about make in india concept. 100% has to be manufactured in India. only then we can breathe freely. until than we have to stick on to the foreign brands. No choice. more
