Why there is separate Road Tax for personal vehicle in different states.....

As we are Indian and we usually get transfers and relocated temporary for year or two then why state police unnecessary make trouble for the people on the name of State Road tax ...however people has already paid tax in another state................. more

This is very correct . People having all India Transfer liabilty should be exmpted from paying the road tax again. Review of The Motor Vehicle Act suggested in these posts should include this provision. more
