may b this reason u l find irrelevant to the topic of discussion... but its a fact... now that the land value has risen...farmers who faces problems like labour, no proper irrigation , their produce are bought at low cost by mediator and sold at minimum 30% margin, increasing cost of fertilisers etc etc ... They get tired and finally sells of their land ... and mostly the buyers for the same are not the end user for doing farming but are investors who wants to double their money by Reselling... this way all such lands are either converted into NA plots or just keep reselling... so the agriculrure produce is not there in such land and this do affect over all production.... steps should b taken for this.. more
welcome with regards suggesting more points 1) Speedy implementation 2) Timely reach 3) NEEDBASED more
1.Construction of Go downs, 2. Abolition robber-mediators at Marketing yards, 3. Stern action against black marketing seed merchants, 4. Implementation of Dr. Swaminathan Committee reports in total, are only repeat only solutions to improve the Agriculture field in India. more
more support service to irrigation . Incentives for agri produce for good quality , using organic manure , and individual farmer variable produce is calculated on the basis total supply from his land.In case more yield can extract there the GOVT should approach and enhance the system of cultivatjon.Agri funds should be patternised accordingly. As for as my experience most of the veteneri & agri officers are sitting with computer in office and collec ting from the sub staff and giving utilisation certificate from A.C. room . This is why whatever schemes introduced public are not satisfied.Strict rule should be implemented immediately every professional should atleast meet one village people everyday & this certainly get a very good result. This network can be monitored from Central Govt to State Govt very strictly. Farmers in the villages are not highly educated or have Degree in Agriculture Science. They are drop outs at the level of 8th Standard or at 10th Standard. Hence Agriculture subject should be introduced at the early stages/standards so that the knowledge they get before they leave the school could be useful and a motivating factor to know more about the modern technologies, instruments, sowing appropriate seeds at appropriate season, using natural manures (instead of chemical fertilizers) etc. We all see that most of the Agricultural Graduates and Post Graduates or even R&D scientists desire to remain within the town/city and hesitate to go to the farms in the villages to have first hand contacts and information/feed backs. Therefore Govt., must think about giving Agricultural knowledge at the school level itself. more
