This whitepaper was submitted by our team yesterday to Hon'ble Minister of Urban Development and Secretary, Urban Development. The poll results highlighting the interest that the citizen community has in Swachh Bharat/Clean India drives at a local level was also shared with him

The Urban Development Minister has personally requested that such an initiative be started by the Ministry by October 2nd (launch of Swachh Bharat drive) with a 5 year horizon thereby enabling citizen driven cleanliness at a neighborhood/constituency level across India.

We Indians do not take things seriously unless the fines are on the higher side or if there is a jail term for littering in a public place..Change the law and make some arrests to make things happen quickly. Namo ji has come out with a good vision for cleanliness.
