Whirpool and Cloudtail

Whirlpool 190 litre refrigerator had MRP 13200 on july 26. Then gst rate changed from 28 to 18%. On dec 8 today MRP is still 13200.

Why are companies like whirlpool and cloudtail taking consumers for a ride? more

MRPs recorded on electrical and electronic items are never reliable. Such MRPs are always inflated and their selling prices are always much less than those MRPs. Further, as per your post, the tax rate was lowered on the day of your post and MRPs are decided by the manufacturers and as such, how it was possible to lower the MRP in the instant case on the same day? more
Hi Garima,

First thanks for all your efforts you are making and posting the fact with proof more
You seem to be a loyal customer of Amazon. Never seen you post anything from Flipkart. Anyways, the seller is offering a discount and you are not paying the full MRP. Then how can this be profiteering. more
The govt is good at making policies and changes but very poor at implementation. This will lead to the downfall of BJP if it's top leadership does not wake up and do something about this. Please stop implementibg new schemes every month. Instead start cleaning up your act by streamilni g the schemes already introduced. The biggest of it being GST. If u r really serious, then take strict action against every company retailer against whom there is a complaint proof of charging excess gst. In case of every complaint check their sales to find out how many items where gst has been lowered were sold by the retailer. Check the invoices in a few cases and if found guilty in a few assume they have charged excess gst in all cases and levy a penalty which should be ten times the excess gst chrged . If penalty is high it will not be worth charging higher gst. Please act on every complaint immediately. The online retailers appear to be the biggest culprit s so act against them first. The on every other complaint. Advertise action taken against such companies through social media giving details if excess gst charged and amount of penalty levied. If govt shows intent no company / retailer can dare to charge excess. Shame them socially and ask public to boycott such companies/ retailers. more
What's the problem if she does it one at a time?? more
