Advanced technology will be seen only the same is applied while doing the contract Job. In Bengaluru, White Field, the most important and linking Road behind ITPL is in a sorry state. Local MLA Mr. Arvind Limbhavali keeps a deaf's ear for all the appeals being made. This state of the road is in existence for the past one year. more
Technology for Road paving and maintainence have improved so much but , unfortunately if the contractor has to bribe officials to get work, get shoddy work passed and get his payments released, things are going to be as they are. The one condition which has to be applied in all tenders is that if the work done is sub standard and the roads break into pot holes , within 2 years, the contractor will have to repair the road at his cost, and in addition will be fined 10% of the cost paid for the road. Such a condition may be harsh but such measures are required so that we get the quality of work which has been paid for. The other condition which is very important is to stick to the work schedule, as otherwise work lingers on for months at a stretch causing grave inconvenience to all users. Dipak Himatsingka more
