WHEN INDIA WILL HAVE CRIMINAL FREE PARLIAMENT???

It is very easy to have a criminal free parliament. Actually too easy, provided the Central Government wants to have that. The way is, to abolish state police, and make law & order a central subject. The combined police forces of India must come under the President, as the Supreme Chief. Their mandate, has to be just one. Stop crime & mention Law & Order. Abolish crime. Automatically, all petty criminals will be behind bars. The politician criminal nexus will be broken. Today, this nexus exists because, a large part of the Indian Police, is defunct. Particularly the state police forces. This system is required to be revamped soon. Otherwise a lot of international investments will be lost. more

Can we take strict measures that a criminal cannot contest elections. What would it take to make such a rule? more

All criminals are not eligible to contest the election. Only the case is of civil in nature & cases filed for political purpose, then only such person can contest election. If the case is of criminal in nature such person is not allowed. Or Lalu would have contested on his own & not fielded his wife & children more

FROM THE DAY WHEN THOSE SERVED WITH SUMMONS FROM ANY COMPETENT COURT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTEST UNDER ANY STATUS OF GOVT. OR PUBLIC & LEGISLATURES BY AMENDING THE ARTICLE SET IN THE CONSTITUTION ALLOWING THOSE IN PRISON MAKING IT CLEAR THAT THOSE IMPRISONED ONLY ON ACCOUNT POLITICAL PROTESTS. more
