What's needed for success of the Make in India mission?

1. Easy availability of funds/loans for deserving/high quality businesses is essential for manufacturing growth
2. A single window clearance system is needed for all the permissions/licenses required to establish and run a manufacturing unit
3. Time bound and computerized clearance systems should be put in place
4. Availability of land lease at cheap rates should be ensured for setting up manufacturing units
5. Making the Government Start up fund functional at the earliest so it can invest in manufacturing and product startups in India
6. Government enabling faster export from and import into India by optimizing customs processes and bringing them online
7. Availability of good infrastructure like power/electricity and transportation facilities are important and should be ensured
8. Encouraging investment in Innovation, R&D, technology through additional incentives to India can create high quality brands capable of competing globally
9. Coordinated effort between centre and state so businesses get the same Make in India commitment/service in the state where they are establishing their plant
10. Ensure businesses are not harassed by labour, fire, environment, tax, other inspectors and State Government bodies by enabling them to escalate issues easily
11. Strengthen payment default/collection laws and their execution, so Start Ups, Small and Medium sized industries find resolution in case of payment defaults.
12. Connecting the business community with each other and the Government for knowledge sharing, grievance redressal, background checks, etc.
13. Restrictions should be put on import of sub-standard products whose substitute product of higher quality can be made in India. more

We can adopt Swachh Bharat from our home itself as the starting point. During my visit to some of the relatives houses in Bangalore and Chennai, I observed that cleanliness is not maintained nor given its due importance as well. As a result, the mosquito menace is very high and does not subside either by switching on the fan or a/c. This can lead to various diseases in the family and sourroundings. We need to keep our surroundings clean and hygienic by involving everyone in our family and make them accountable for cleanliness at their place of living. more
Segments Selection should be wise as it should not happen like China where manufacturing led to such huge smog in some cities that people life becomes miserable. So for those products imports only should be tagged more
Reducing dependence on external countries in important areas like Defence and energy is key to the success of Make in India campaign. Indigenous arms/energy plants/technologies should be promoted and the external dependence for these resources should be slowly and steadily reduced. This will not only create jobs in India, it will make our country self reliant which is the one of the main intentions of this campaign more
SWACHH BHARAT MEANS NOT ONLY CLEANNESS OF SURROUNDINGS BUT ALSO TO CLEAN INDIA FROM DIRTY CORRUPTIONS,WHY PAWAR,BHUJBAL,TATKARE,ETC R NOT IN JAIL,WHAT'S COOKING BETWEEN BJP AND PAWARS,THEY ARE CRIMINALS AND THEY SHOULD BE IN JAIL,FARMERS R DYING AND MODIJI IS TRAVELLING,ISN'T IT ODD?MODIJI SHOULD PAY ATTENTION AND GO TO POSSIBLE FARMER'S HOME AND SHOULD CONSOLE WITH HELP,I FELT VERY WHEN MODIJI IS CRITISIZED COZ IM GREAT FAN MODIJI AND THEN BJP BUT YOU SHOULD DO SOMETHING DRASTICALLY AND FAST WHILE TACKLING WITH PROBLEMS more
Laws and procedures for compliance should be simple with least discreation. Single window to comply with all type of laws like IT,VAT,Service Tax,Local Taxes,Registration,Labour and Industrial laws. There should be one Customer Care Centre where representatives of all departments are available to respond the citizens. That centre should comprise of courteous persons who can obtain the required informations from the respective departments so that no person is required to visit any goverment office and disturb their working or offer illegal consideration for speeder working or solution of their problem. Expenditure on metings, tours etc. should be reduced. No politician or executive should be allowed to travel abroad for medical treatement, meetings, survey, inaugrations etc. except in exceptional circumstances. Facility for use of state plane should be stopped. Previliges & exemptions should be abolished. All key persons requiring special security should be stationed in one building. more
