Clean air → Buy Air purifier
24/7 electricity →Buy Inverter
Quality education → Expensive Private schools
Decent Healthcare → Expensive Private hospitals
Safe paneer → Do iodine test at home

The points listed in the first post are basically Government's basic responsibilities towards citizens but the previous Governments have systematically shirked its responsibilities from these basic and fundamental responsibilities and handed it over to private sectors. The present Government is also not doing anything to reinstate these responsibilities. As regards taxation, we have multi level tax structure so we pay taxes of anything we spend upon and over and above, we pay income tax. This is killing us. Governments, Centre and State are providing freebies and free ration to 80 crores citizens, so we have almost 60% population who are fed on the taxes citizens pay including the salaries and pensions to sitting MPs/MLAs and Ex-MPs/MLAs. Who will stop this? more

India’s citizens are forced to buy water purifiers, air purifiers, inverters, private schooling, and private healthcare because public services remain inconsistent, underfunded, or poorly enforced. The core problem is systemic infrastructure gaps, weak accountability, slow modernisation, and uneven performance across states. While the government is making some improvements (smart meters, Ayushman Bharat, school reforms, pollution control steps), the progress is too slow compared to the needs of a fast-growing population. A lasting solution needs infrastructure upgrades, strict enforcement, quality public education and healthcare, and transparent governance. Until then, citizens will continue paying privately for services that government should ideally provide. more

I wonder how our thinking line goes. Before commenting on "what the hell Government is doing", let us introspect towards our duties and responsibilities. Let us have a look on the list of expenditures the Government is doing with money collected from general public as tax? In addition, one should know a bit of Economics to run a country. It should also be borne in mind, there are so many European countries, where taxation rates are upto 55%. Nation building is not done by criticizing the Government, we have to look into our duties and responsibilities as a good citizen. I feel we are contributing to lot of filthy and dirtiness of our environment. We need to ponder. more

Shameless government bodies and government itself are not recognising you and me as citizens of India neither to serve the people as their duty and taking our all rights and benefits by using all the institutions and instruments like election commission, supreme court and the public is left to live at its own.India has become very close to be a riyasat of some gujr@ati net@as and not existing as democratic country ,so who is having money and power will enjoy healthy life and who is not will die as insects(keeda makoda),the thing is that the earlier people realise that,the better would be it for them and future generations. more
